A letter including the appraisal process, definitions of terms used, and appraisal - specific information, which is used in connection with the conversation to convey the reporting requirements in USPAP’s Standards 8-2 and 8-4.*
We are often asked to provide an appraisal for a single item that does not require a larger appraisal report. Typically, the client is looking to learn what the item is worth to potentially sell them. To fill this need, we offer an USPAP compliant

The Oral Market Value Restricted Report is limited to one item or group of similar items, and is not appropriate for appraisals containing multiple items. For these reports, we suggest a written Restricted Report.
Oral Market Value Appraisals are not acceptable for insurance coverage, estate tax, donation, or any written appraisal needs.
